Right then, cats and kittens, just to let you know, One By One Magazine will be on sale again before the Forest game.
We will have a couple of sellers either end of the dock wall, just over the bridge and near the corner of Blackstock Street at the other end. Just have to keep your eyes peeled because there’s just so many stewards and swag men and coppers around it’s easy to get lost amid the madness on matchdays.
Also, if you are in town, the Excelsior on Dale Street will have some behind the bar. Make sure you buy a pint as well while you are there – don’t be a mingebag.
We’ve been overwhelmed with the feedback so far, and with the reaction of so many supporters of a certain age last weekend who were just made up that there’s a fanzine again. There definitely seems to be an appetite for something to read at half-time / on the toilet.
We saw so many familiar faces and were bowled over by everyone’s generosity and encouragement. It genuinely made standing in the pissing rain all afternoon feel worthwhile.
Too many people to mention – but it was particularly good to meet the two Brians over from Ireland and Alex who bought three copies in Ten Streets.
Also, another thanks to Joe and Jen at Ten Streets who have just been amazing with all their help.
Anyway, come and say hello in the street on Saturday. And bring £4 – cash or card.
As an added bonus you can hear me pontificating about all things Everton and the magazine as a guest of Matt Jones who very kindly invited me onto the Blue Room podcast here:
You can also still buy the magazine online here:
